For years I'd been buying candles, into every shop hunting around for the next. I used them to relax or focus, depending on the scent. So, in 2022, I decided to take candle making up as a hobby to get away from the daily grind. Into the workshop (Dining room), the door closed, radio on. Blissfully pottering away for hours. Then the candles started to pile up, so they went to friends and family. With their feedback and my wife's encouragement, I launched The Giants Glow. 

Based on the North Coast, having lived my whole life here, there is no end to the experiences or inspiration to draw from. That's why with these 7 candles, I wanted to showcase some of my favorite memories. 

Currently, The Giants Glow is run solely by me. Each candle and wax melt, poured and wrapped by hand. 

When creating these candles, I wanted the products to be as environmentally friendly as possible. From the labels to the jars, to the wax and the wick. Our sustainably sourced wax is 100% soy and GMO free. One element we encourage is the upcycling of our jars, like plant pots, spice jars, moneyboxes, whatever you can think of, and I can't wait to see what everyone does with them.
